Packaging engineering for real production conditions

Once the concept is defined, the next step is to turn it into a structure that performs reliably in real-world conditions – on the filling line, in the warehouse, and during transport. Engineering is the bridge between the design on paper and a stable packaging solution ready for production runs of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of units.

Focus on strength and efficiency

  • Load calculations – pallet stacking heights, compression, vibrations, and temperature variations.
  • Die-cut layout optimisation – ensuring the maximum number of parts is produced from each corrugated sheet with minimal waste.
  • Machine compatibility – designing packaging that folds, glues, and fills smoothly on your existing equipment.
  • Functional details – handles, openings, perforations, windows, locking features, and other specific requirements.

Prototypes and testing

Based on the structural design, we produce samples for testing. We evaluate how the packaging performs during manual or automated assembly, how it withstands pallet stacking, and whether it meets safety requirements. Where necessary, we refine the drawings until the optimal solution is achieved.

Results for the customer

  • fewer production line stoppages caused by defective packaging;
  • more reliable product protection throughout the entire logistics chain;
  • better control over material and labour costs;
  • structures ready for long-term, repeatable production.

Packaging engineered by UNIPACK-V combines engineering precision with practical experience gained across a wide range of industries.
